Any third parties processing your personal information will do so only on our instructions and are required to keep the information confidential and secure. We maintain suitable security controls to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, misused, accessed without authorisation, altered, or disclosed. Access to your personal information is restricted to employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a legitimate business need to know. All such individuals are subject to confidentiality obligations and may only process your information in accordance with our instructions. We also have procedures in place to manage any suspected data security breaches and will notify you and any relevant regulator where we are legally required to do so.

The Firm is a Data Controller and Processor within the legal definition and we hold and process Individual Data, which is subject to Data Protection law. We have a duty to keep this data secure at all times. In addition, we must ensure that data is protected and not lost, as this would be detrimental to our clients and our business. The Firm agrees to abide by the Principles outlined in data protection law, regulations and any subsequent legislation.

 

Due to the nature of our business we may hold substantial information about an individual, their financial situation and additionally we may hold sensitive personal data.

 

We need to keep personal data in respect of our clients and staff whilst we are currently working with them and beyond that in line with our record keeping policy.
